Iglesia Bautista Filadelfia
A church in Curicó, Chile, with weekly sermons on YouTube, a presence on social media, and a long statement of faith needed one place of its own that brought it all together. I'm building a site that maintains itself: new sermons show up without anyone uploading them.

What wasn't working?
The church was already producing content: weekly sermons on its YouTube channel, a presence on Facebook and Instagram, and a detailed statement of faith. What it didn't have was a site of its own where a newcomer could find all of that in one place.
- Sermons lived only on YouTube, with no home of their own to organize them
- Service times, address, and contact needed a proper site, not just social media
- An 18-section statement of faith with no page where it could be read in full
- Whatever got built had to be maintainable without a developer behind it
What I built
A single-page site plus the statement of faith, with its own design and content editable from one file, built so the church doesn't depend on anyone to keep it current.
Sermons that update themselves
The site reads the church's YouTube channel on the server and shows the latest sermons with title, thumbnail, and age. It refreshes at most every hour: they upload to YouTube and it shows up on the site without anyone touching anything.
Full statement of faith
A dedicated page with all 18 sections of the doctrinal statement, written in a content file so it can be corrected without touching the design.
Services, ministries, and contact
Worship and small-group schedules, six ministries, mission, vision, and purpose, an address linked to Google Maps, email, and links to YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
Content editable in one file
Name, social links, schedules, ministries, and copy live in a content file separate from the components. Changing a service time means changing one line.
Its own identity, not a template
Typefaces chosen for the church's tone, a restrained palette, a header that adapts on scroll, a mobile menu, and its own logo and icon.
Ready to grow
A database configured for a next phase, without loading the public site with anything it doesn't need today.
What changed for the client?
The site is live on a temporary domain while it's being finished. What's left is small and already identified.
- Published and working on a temporary Vercel domain; the church can already review and share it
- Nearly 30 adjustments shipped in two days: real service times, address and email, social links, logo and icon
- Pending: custom domain, sitemap, and social sharing metadata
- Pending: contact form; today contact is by email, map, and social media
