Ideas y Roller
A Chilean custom blinds and shades company needed its website to do one thing really well: turn visitors into measurement requests. I built the site plus an admin panel so they can keep it updated without a developer.

What did the business need?
Ideas & Roller doesn't sell off-the-shelf products: every blind is measured, made, and installed to order. Their website didn't need a shopping cart; it needed the right person to book a visit.
- Customers decide with their eyes: without real, recent photos of installations, there's no trust
- They serve homes, offices, and retail spaces, each with very different needs and budgets
- Every inquiry counts: a form buried in spam or a lost message is a lost sale
- The team isn't technical: needing a developer to upload a photo wasn't an option
- A large share of their customers arrive on a phone and would rather use WhatsApp than fill out a form
What I built
I designed the site as a path with a single destination, the free measurement, and gave the client the tools to keep it alive on their own.
A page built to book the visit
The form to schedule a technical visit is above the fold: name, phone, and product of interest. The free measurement follows the visitor through the entire site.
WhatsApp one tap away
WhatsApp access at five points across the site, with the message pre-written. Anyone who'd rather chat doesn't have to figure out how.
Their own admin panel
The client uploads and reorders gallery photos, swaps the main image, and manages testimonials from a private panel, without touching code.
Moderated testimonials
Customers leave a star rating and review right on the site. Nothing goes live until the business approves it.
Inquiries that arrive clean
Invisible, server-verified spam protection. Every request arrives by email with a button to reply to the customer directly on WhatsApp.
Filterable gallery and fabric catalog
Real projects filterable by product line, plus the fabric catalog available to browse without leaving the site.
What changed for the client?
The site is in production and the client manages their own content. It has kept evolving since launch, including a complete visual redesign.
- Live at ideasyroller.cl, with the gallery and testimonials managed by the business itself
- Two ways to get in touch, form and WhatsApp, present throughout the site on both phone and desktop
- Complete visual redesign in June 2026: animations, bottom navigation on mobile, and performance and accessibility reviewed after an audit
- 162-point quality review before handoff: security, SEO, documentation, and client handover
- Technical SEO in order: their own domain as the official URL for Google and social networks, sitemap, robots, and a permanent redirect from www
- More than 30 rounds of improvements in five months: the site was delivered and then kept being cared for
